Battery Manufacturing Machines
The assembly and finishing half of a battery manufacturing line — sealing, welding, filling, formation and test — as distinct from the plate-making machines that start the process.

In short: battery manufacturing machines covers the whole line, but this range is the assembly end: container and lid heat sealing, lug welding, acid filling, vacuum dry charging and electrical test. Plate-making machines are listed separately on the battery machines page.
Assembly-stage equipment
| Station | Machine | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Lug preparation | Lug brushing machine | Removes oxide before welding |
| Grouping / COS | Traction heat sealing machine | Seals lid to container |
| Marking | Serial number punching | Traceability and date coding |
| Leak test | Air pressure test equipment | Seal check before acid |
| Electrolyte | Acid filling and level control | Volume and specific gravity |
| Formation | Vacuum dry charging machine | Low-pressure formation |
| Formation | Dry charging oven | Dry-charge for shelf life |
| Test | Battery test equipment | Capacity, polarity, short circuit |
Where this range starts and ends
Assembly begins after the plate is cured and ends when the battery is released for dispatch. The two stages either side — curing and formation — are where scrap is usually created, and where the assembly equipment has to be matched rather than bought on rating.
In practice, a heat sealer sized for 30 batteries a minute is wasted behind a formation room that can only take 12. That is why we quote assembly upgrades against the throughput of the full battery making plant rather than as stand-alone machines.
Questions buyers ask
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between battery machines and battery manufacturing machines?
On this site, battery machines is the full index by process stage — plate making through test. Battery manufacturing machines refers to the assembly and finishing range: sealing, marking, leak testing, filling, formation and electrical test.
Can you upgrade only our assembly section?
Yes. Give us the capacity and plate pitch of the machines either side of the station you want to replace, and we build to that interface. Most assembly retrofits are constrained by conveyor height and cycle time, not by the new machine's rating.
Do you supply acid filling and formation equipment?
We supply acid filling, vacuum dry charging and dry charging ovens as part of the assembly range, and we size formation channels against the curing and pasting capacity of the line so the plant does not end up formation-bound.

Tell us the cells you need to build,
and the plant you need to run them.
Send your capacity target, cell format and the operations you want to bring in-house. We will come back with a machine list, a layout and an indicative timeline.
What helps us quote fast
- Cell format and dimensions (cylindrical, pouch, prismatic, tubular)
- Target throughput per shift, and annual volume
- Which steps you already run, and which are new
- Shop-floor power supply and available footprint
- Destination port and required commissioning window
